North Metro Fire Rescue District wants to ensure that all citizens have access to information and develop the skills to keep them safe through every stage of life. From presenting to Homeowner Association groups on safety in the home to educating seniors on high-risk injury areas, we cover a variety of topics with our adult education programs.

Blood Pressure Checks
North Metro Fire needs your help in reducing heart disease and strokes in our community by coming in for a free blood pressure check.

CPR and Stop the Bleed Classes
North Metro Fire Rescue District is focused on training area residents to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automatic external defibrillator (AED) when a co-worker, friend or loved one is choking or has stopped breathing.

The File of Life is a red, magnetic packet that contains important medical information about you and your family.

Fire & Injury Prevention Program
Some of these subject areas include how to prevent falls in the home, evacuation drills, kitchen fire safety and how to be weather wise.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Program
North Metro Fire will provide a household smoke alarm and/or carbon monoxide detector at no charge to senior citizens, residents of the District with limited income or residents with special needs.
